Hello and welcome to Prepare to Eat! We are excited that you have stopped by our little piece of the internet. My name is Lauren, and after years of reading blogs and using their recipes I decided it was time for me to take the plunge, and share my family’s recipes with the world. Our life has evolved, and with two kids (and one on the way) I don’t have time to spend hours in the kitchen cooking our food. We’re eating on the go, food I’ve prepared ahead of time and reheated, or food that can be prepped and cooked in a short amount of time. That’s our season of life right now- we’re squeezing in homework, soccer practice, work commitments – you name it, we’re heading there and we just don’t have the kitchen time that we used to. However, that doesn’t mean we want to eat boring, unhealthy meals. We still aim to cook fresh food that is quick and delicious.
